i had a hard time transplanting these poor bean plants. they thrived in their starter pot, but i let them get too big and leggy. so separating them was a brutal experience for all involved...i didn't think they would do well post transplant. but i have a bean! yup, it's just one, I have no idea how productive a bean plant is supposed to be. the plant is still pretty meager looking and it seems like maybe it's taken all of the energy it had and put it into producing this one and only bean pod...i'm not holding out much hope from here on out...but you never know...
