one of the deadliest tornadoes in history hit, a death sentence was given to two people that sold atomic bomb secrets, anti-vietnam demonstrations start, a guatemalan ambassador was kidnapped and killed, howard hughes died, a bomb in berlin, kurt cobain killed himself, charleton heston dies...REALLY!?!?!?
what a crappy day in history? at least that's what one would think from reading this...but on this day, 50 years ago, my Dad was born! i'm pretty pleased about this occurrence, i think it led to some pretty great things in the last 50 years :)
