today we got to witness a 1st-birthday-cake-eating event.  i find it slightly amusing that i've been on the "caveman" kick for the last 160 days or so, i start a "caveman" diet a few days ago, and after looking at the pictures from this afternoon...i find myself looking at a caveman!  or a really hair cave-baby...sorry monica, it's the fact the chocolate frosting matches her hair... :)
