i've never been one of those people that always wished for 'the other kind of hair'. i will be the first to admit, my hair is pretty awesome. i can straighten it and it stays board straight for more than 30 seconds, it dries curly, but not crazy tiny ringlet curly-big curling iron curls...and it's thick, sometimes that fact is obnoxious, but it really is better than not having any hair at all...
the one thing i wanted caitlin to get from me was my hair. it's hard to tell b/c it seems like all babies hair starts out curly that first year, and then it gets cut and it's no longer curly...but the two little girls she hangs out with have bored straight hair, so maybe my theory is wrong...
either way, i'm starting to see curls, and it's making me excited :)
