this will be another quick post. i got home late from a "coffee" in rosepine...
today was my last boot camp work out for a very long time...if it wasn't the last one ever...friday's class has been canceled and i'll be in MI after that until the new year. and from jan - sept the gym we work out in will be closed for renovations...i haven't heard yet what is to become of the aerobics classes. but whatever they do, i know they don't have any other the facilities on post that would suffice, so i'm not very hopeful for the future of boot camp :(. this did not make me smile.
what did was the fantastic salad i made for lunch and the brief stint in the park after the work out. today was beautiful, slightly breezy, but sunny and cool.
i sat next to the stroller (on wood chips, mind you) and enjoyed my salad. and as caitlin socialized with the other babies that were swinging, i wondered who came up with the idea of wood chips in a play ground. is it really because they're cheap and not as hard as cement? they just don't seem very child friendly, they're not comfortable to sit on AT ALL. if you fall off the swing, they probably don't taste good. i've had an inch long splinter in my knee...they SUCK! why not sand? is sand too messy? attracts too many cats??? gross. maybe the wood chips aren't so bad.
