we had our first moment of quiet this afternoon after the hoxie clan headed back north. i wouldn't have changed a moment of our time with all of the wonderful people that came down to spend time with us. our time was well spent.
we discovered that playing wii with a 14 month old is a little difficult. especially when she tugs at the wrist strap while you're trying to hold the controller steady...
we put the bug to bed just in time for the rivets to arrive again. they had to enroll addison in the DEERS program here on post-they're pretty much just using us for beds to sleep in ;-).
i did want to apologize to all my 'hardcore' fans for my lack of exciting writing. i hope people didn't have crazy high expectations for these two weeks...but honestly, we've been low key. we've done a lot of sitting outside telling ridiculous stories. and while i'm in the middle of apologizing...i'll mention that there isn't a picture for today...sorry! :)
