Day 183 Apr.18 2011

we met the beach yesterday today we met a battleship!  this was the first pit stop on our way back to fort polk.  we had a picnic lunch made by miss leanne (delicious!).  cate did really well at running out a little bit, and then coming back for a bite or two of food and then doing another circuit around the picnic blanket.

 

we got to tour ourselves through the U.S.S. Alabama, which was pretty sweet.  now i understand why my parents dragged us on all of these museum type stuff when we were kids-it was fun for them!  they knew we wouldn't fully appreciate it, we were just the excuse...i feel used.  but will turn around and do the same thing with my children.  oh the circle of life... :)
