another beautiful day in the neighborhood.  dropped the car off at the repair shop.  she's getting a new radiator.  is it odd that the two cars i have ever called my own have both needed new radiators?  i suppose there could be more expensive parts of a car that i some how manage to damage, huh?

erin came over this afternoon and kept me company while my plants made the big migration from baby pots to their adult homes.  the whole experience would have been perfect if one of the pots hadn't been full of fire ant infested dirt...oooooo they make me very angry (i just thought of marvin the martian as i said that...).  i'm all for throwing down a bunch of chemicals to get rid of them...but i love my daughter and my cat too much. it's just a risk i can't justify taking.  so i resort to scalding hot water and instant grits...it kinda sorta works.
