i sat for 10 min while i watched cate walk to the other side of the room and pick up a shape out of the bucket, walk to the coffee table, and set it down in a very precise spot on the table, then head back to the bucket and pick out just one shape again and set it back on the coffee table in a very specific spot in relation to the first shape. for 10 min i sat and watched and racked my brain as to what she was doing...she never told me.
this is by far my most favorite part of this having a child thing. as much as i'm terrified i'm going to screw her up now, it's so much cooler watching her attempt to sort colors than roll over for the first time. really what was i so excited about back then??? :)
