bug had her "12 month well baby" check up today. that went just fine. the terrible part started when we sat for 40 min waiting after the appointment in the immunization clinic waiting room. the wait started about 10 min into when caitlin is usually sleeping snug as a bug in her bed...
not a fun 40 min. and of course, it's the immunization clinic. ya'll know what happens there. not just a shot today. not just two shots, one in each leg...no, try 3 in one thigh and 2 in the other...the nurse promised me she would get a fever and the injection sites will be swollen and irritated for a week or two. A WEEK OR TWO?!?! really? that seems a little over kill. but i guess the trade off would probably be worse...
bug lived up to her cranky-ness. that's why i retreated as soon as i could to my 'garden' and smiled at the fact that everything leans towards the sunlight. i got lost in my little green world :)
