we made it home finally!  it was wonderful to be in MI for the holidays, and to spend a few days in beaumont unwinding a bit more before we finished the last leg of our trip, but i was itching to get here.

i find it really interesting that just because i organized the things in a building the way i wanted them to be, i become more attached to the building than other buildings...i can see the concept with people, those that you invest the most time and energy and emotional support in, are those that you feel more attached to, but have i really expended that much emotional energy into the 4 walls that i live in while i'm in lousiana?  maybe i have...

to a lot of people this view may seem a little desolate and dry, but to me, this view is calming, comfortable.  it's home :)
