i remembered about 12 hours before i needed to fly to baltimore, that i was in fact flying to baltimore today...sometimes my brain checks out and doesn't tell me where it's going...doesn't happen often, but it has been known to happen.
i booked a flight to baltimore a month or so back b/c i found an absolute steal on a round trip ticket, and my best friends son was getting baptized today! an opportunity that couldn't be turned down. so, once we got back from draminski christmas yesterday, i convinced my mom and dad to watch the 2nd twilight movie with me. well we didn't get done with that until 11:30 or so, and i still hadn't packed for my trip. i was trying to keep the entire luggage situation to one single carry on bag since i'd have the child and the carseat to deal with. once i got everything packed and organized i decided to leave my camera behind at the last minute. i'm partially glad i did, it would have just been too much to keep track of, if it hadn't been such a big investment, i would have made it work some how, but dropping or scratching it just wasn't worth it to me for two nights...
anyway, the flight out to baltimore went swimmingly. bug was awake for most of the flight, but still very pleasant and full of smiles for everyone. it wasn't until we got into evan and leanne's rental car that she decided to projectile vomit everywhere (including my hand). evan was a champ and helped me clean her up enough to get to evan's aunts house, where we promptly did a load of laundry.
jp's baptism went very well, caitlin kept the growling/demonic sounds to a minimum-much to leanne's dismay, and bug only puked once in the church...at this point we're not sure if she is sick or if it was just the travel...oh well, just goes to show how much fun life with babies can be!
