then we were able to get some christmas shopping done. i found myself lost in the book store and it was fantastic. bug is a great shopper, she just sits in her stroller and swings her feet like she doesn't have a care in the world-which she doesn't. i never realized how much i missed book stores. just walking through each section look at the covers, makes me want to have 12 coffee tables in my house so i can cover each of them with coffee table books that have large beautiful pictures of nature/animal like things...
speaking of decorating house. johnny was subjected to putting lights on the christmas tree. this for some reason has always been the most dreaded task during christmas...i'm not sure why. maybe because i've never done it...usually it's the task that gets the most criticism from the rest of the family-it's always constructive of course!
it was an overall entertaining evening of light putting on, delicious chicken & florentine eating, and my attempts at artsy fartsy photo taking...:)
