Day 48 Dec.4 2010

today caitlin's god parents arrived.  one from chicago (with her mom and her almost 12 month toddler), and one from new york (with his girlfriend).  after everyone got here and settled it (god mom & family were staying with us) we shared some homemade lasagna and some very good company and conversation.

it makes me very grateful for the friends that i have that are willing to drive or fly the extra mile to be apart of an event in my daughter's life.

god mom went to school for photography, and she has aided me in a few decisions concerning the purchase of my fancy schmancy camera.  she brought me a lens to try out while we were sitting at the table.  i very much liked playing with it.  and of course i don't remember at all what it was called - leanne if you read this, what was the name of the lens??

i took pictures of the salt and pepper shakers, caitlin's blocks, my brother's face, and the bailiy's irish cream bottle...needless to say, the entire evening was a lot of fun :)
