sleeping on a train was difficult. i kept feeling like it was going to roll over...caitlin did well even though she sounds like she can't breathe...there was just enough room for both of us to cuddle on our little bed.
breakfast on a train is just as impressive as my fried chicken, mashed potatoes and green beans the night before. i had french toast. the coffee is kind of lame, but it was brought to me-i didn't have to make it-which makes up for the flavor a little bit.
bug and i took a nap together this morning which was fantastic, then we did some sight seeing from our sleeper car. getting off the train in chicago made me crazy. never will i make myself be in charge of 4+ luggage bags and a 9 month old infant on a crazy train platform like in chicago...gah. i'm so glad we made it out alive and with all of our belongings. it was just a lot of fast moving people in a small area.
we made it to lansing in time to have dinner and hit the sack.
