i have a new project.  the first sewing  machine venture went so well, i figured i'd attempt a real sewing project using an actual pattern.  because i'm impatient and want an immediate result, i decided to start with baby clothing, with the assumption that a little pattern, with little fabric, would take little time...we'll see if that holds true.

after i found a pattern for an adorable baby dress, i decided i should make catilin's baptsim dress from this pattern.  i then needed fabric.  well anyone that has had the pleasure of visiting leesville, la knows that fabric stores are hard to find.  so i needed to make a day trip, my first thought was going to alexandra.  then i decided to make a whole weekend out of the day trip and head to beaumont, tx instead and stay with my cousin and his wife. 

michelle, bug and i spent a good couple of hours in hobby lobby picking out fabric and getting all of the supplies i was going to need.  i've very excited to start this, especially now that i have fabric in hand!  stay tuned for more updates :)
